Girl Scouts of America 5K RunWhen: Sunday, September 25, 2011 Where: Mission Bay - De Anza Cove
SAFE was an exhibitor at the Girl Scouts of America New Day 5K this past Sunday. There was a table complete with large SAFE signs and a giant, stuffed cell phone to attract visitors. A human cell phone was also known to be wandering the field and even taking pictures with the event’s mascot: the human sun. Children and adults of all ages flocked to the booth to get their free car air fresheners and candy while learning about the program behind the Call Boxes. The morning wrapped up at 10am after the races were completed and the awards given out for each of the 12 independent age divisions.

Keep track of your gas fill-ups and mileage. A pad and pencil is all it takes. Notice that your gas mileage worsens? Tune-up time!

We have our last car hidden! Good luck! Hint: FSP http://t.co/yDfaZiFb #giveaways

See a tanker at your gas station? Come back another time because the turbulence caused by the underground filling can stir up sediment.
